Information you provide

We may collect your name, email address, subject, and message when you use our contact form. We may also receive information you choose to provide when volunteering, registering for an event, or making a donation. Newsletter sign-up is not currently active. If FFT adds a newsletter service, this policy will be updated before that service begins collecting information.

Donation and payment information

FFT accepts online donations through QuickBooks Online payment links provided by Intuit and through Venmo payment links. When you follow one of these links, the provider collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy and security practices. FFT may receive a donor's name, contact information, donation amount, transaction status, and records needed for accounting, but we do not receive or store complete card numbers or bank-account credentials through this website.

Information collected automatically

Our website host, security services, and planned analytics service may automatically record limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser or device type, pages visited, referring page, and date and time of a visit. We may use cookies or similar technologies for website operation, security, and analytics. FFT does not use targeted advertising. The analytics provider and any related consent or opt-out information will be added before the public website launches.

How we use information

We may use information to:

• Coordinate volunteers, events, donations, and community engagement.
• Send updates when a person has asked to receive them.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the website.
• Meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.

How we share information

FFT does not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate the website, deliver email, process donations, or provide other requested services. These providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their work.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of FFT or others, in connection with an organizational transition, or with your consent.

Children's privacy

FFT's mission serves children, but this website and its forms are intended for adults, including parents, guardians, volunteers, donors, and community partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13.

Children should not submit information through the contact form. Please do not include sensitive information or identifying details about a child in a message. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information through this website, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Retention and security

Contact-form messages are normally retained for no more than 90 days and then deleted, unless more time is reasonably needed to complete a request or preserve information for legal or safety reasons. Donation and financial records may be kept longer to meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Other personal information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message. You may also ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. Browser settings may allow you to limit or delete cookies.

Third-party websites and services

Our website may link to services that FFT does not control, including payment, event, social media, or partner websites. Their privacy practices apply when you visit or provide information to them. We encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this policy as the website and our services change. The effective date at the top of the page will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website.
